Blogging Interview Challenge

awardshonorsI was tagged by a fellow blogger, Bumbi’s Mom, for the Blogging Interview Challenge, in a post about getting to know more about blogging.

As a relatively newbie blogger (again), I enjoy getting nominated or included for these little blogging awards and interviews that circulate the blogosphere…if for no other reason than that someone out there in the big ole’ World Wide Web has taken the time to find my blog and quite possibly even read the ramblings and musings of this introvert and include me!! Very cool, indeed! Thank you!!

So here goes with the interview.

  • How did you get into blogging? The truth of the matter is, that I probably got into blogging because I might just possibly spend way too much time on my computer and I figured I should perhaps, make my time spent online look more productive…hence, my blogging adventure began. This is actually my second venture into the blogosphere. A few years ago, I started a blog on Blogger and ended up mostly blogging with an Etsy team promoting each other’s Etsy shops…and eventually, life just got in the way and my blog sort of got put on the back burner. Yet, I continued thinking about blogging and sort of missed it. Then, just recently I felt the need to blog again, but this time wanted to give WordPress a try, which some how led me to The Daily Post and then, before I knew what was happening, I was enrolled in Blogging University…and the rest, as they say, is history.
  • What advice would you give to another blogger starting out? Just do it! If it sounds like it would be fun for you…go ahead and just do it…and have fun!
  • How has your blog changed since you started writing it? As my blog has only been ‘live’ for just under two months, I guess it has come far from that plain “Hello World” post that WordPress creates for you when you start a WordPress blog. I have been enjoying the journey of learning WordPress. Customizing themes by fiddling with HTML and CSS and learning about plugins and widgets and all the ‘techie’ things that come with creating a blog…not to mention having to spend time on my computer writing posts…all these little things does my techie-wanna-be soul good!
  • What would be your dream campaign? I would love to somehow be a spokes person for  the animals of this world that don’t have a voice of their own. A voice that speaks for the homeless, hurting, endangered or just misunderstood animals of this world. God’s creatures are wonderful and deserve to be cared for and respected for the creatures that they are.
  • What advice would you give to PR’s wanting to approach you for a campaign? I am open to possibilities and would do my very best.
  • Do you have a plan for you blog? My plan at the moment is to just continue enjoying this blogging adventure and learn from this online community of fellow bloggers, and maybe even…one day, be someone who can help others who are just starting out with their blogging adventures.
  • What do you think about rankings? I try not to let the numbers bother me…but…I may just be a little obsessed with checking my stats throughout the day.

Thanks for reading my Blogging Interview Challenge and continuing to show my blog love and support. I’m so grateful to everyone who takes time to read a post, like it, and comment.

    1. Thank you! It’s a work in progress. I am taking a WordPress course so every time I learn something new I start fiddling again 🙂

  1. That obsession with numbers is a part of growing up as a blogger. I check the stats once in two or three days now (it’s unhealthy – you must keep a tab on the trends, and check at least once a day.) You’ll grow out of it too. I mean how many times you can look at those blue bars…there will come a time when you’ll start weaning yourself away 🙂 You did a great job with the challenge.
