This week’s Sunday Snippets of Inspiration is about a story I saw online this week, concerning this 6-year-old little boy, Jaden, who after losing both his parents (his father when he was four and just recently his mom), decided he wanted to make people smile.
As family and friends grieved, he told his aunt, who is now his legal guardian, that he was tired of seeing everyone so sad and wanted to make people smile. And so, “The Smile Experiment” was born.
With his aunts help, he went out around his hometown and handed out little toys and beads to people who were not smiling, in hopes of turning around their day. Sometime, with some mixed emotions, as not everyone understood why this little orphan boy would give them this little token of joy, with no expectations…except a smile.
What an amazing little boy!! His story breaks my heart…yet his determination and sweetness is so beautiful!
Those who want to share their smiles for Jaden, (that he can reach his goal of 33,000) can do so on social media with the hashtag #TheSmileExperiment.
Please consider joining me on Sundays and share your Snippets of Inspiration too! Don’t for get to link back here so I can be inspired by what keeps you encouraged in this, sometimes crazy, messed up world!
I’ve nominated you for The Liebster Award. Check it out here!
