It seems I may have ‘forgotten’ about a [easyazon_link identifier=”B007RTBUSS” locale=”US” tag=”scrmus06-20″]fourth gnome[/easyazon_link] who happened to jump into my Amazon cart a few days ago and showed up at my door today.
I had ordered a few other organizational supplies shortly after my gnome shopping spree in hopes of getting to organizing some of my kitchen cabinets. So when I arrived home from work today there were a couple of boxes waiting for me. I proceeded to bring them upstairs and started to get excited to start the kitchen cabinet organization project…but there was one box that had a plain box inside of it.
(To the packers of boxes around the world…why do you do that?? Just stick a label on the first box people!)
For a moment I was hopeful that it was the third little guy I was waiting on…yet, while I was opening the box I was having a running conversation in my head, “Weird…this gnome is from the same company as the first one, but is in a plain brown box…weird!”
Obviously, in my gnome buying stupor, I lost track of who actually made it into the cart and through to the actual purchasing part. When I opened the box I was totally surprised (but isn’t he stinkin’ cute?!?!). I had to literally go look up my order online because I had no recollection of this guy making it to the finish line?!?! I thought maybe the gnomes were using their special magic to send me an extra little cutie to join my quickly growing gnome family 🙂
There are so many adorable ones!! I have a wishlist a mile long and I have only been on this crazy preoccupation with gnomes for a few days!!
The good news is that these little guys are inspiring me to do a little house cleaning (which is probably a good thing!) as I try to find the perfect place for them to hang out. I have even been pondering a bit about ways to spruce up the yard as I know these guys like to be outside. Who knows where this gnome fascination will lead?
Good thing it has already been suggested by a dear reader, that I take the time to read, [easyazon_link identifier=”B00MF14922″ locale=”US” tag=”scrmus06-20″]How to Survive a Garden Gnome Attack: Defend Yourself When the Lawn Warriors Strike (And They Will)[/easyazon_link] it looks like I may need it 🙂
Your newest edition is definitely a cutie! Glad you got him even if you didn’t think you were!
Me too! I think I need to start thinking up names for these guys 😉
