Fav Foto Friday #15

Fav Foto FridayShare each Friday, on your own blog, one photo…or maybe even a gallery of some of your favorite photos that you have taken during the week, that make you smile or that was a great photo capturing opportunity…anything really!  And as photographers are often known to say, “The best camera is, the one that you have with you!”

Whether you are a pro-photographer or just venturing into photography…or maybe you are like me and just whip out your cell phone when you are going about your day…take those photos and share them! Feel free to add any camera info and shooting info that you may have on your photos as well.

Don’t forget to link back (pingback) here and add a #FavFotoFriday tag so that I can enjoy all your Favorite Fotos too!

This week’s edition of Fav Foto Friday is in tribute to my Mom. Just about 10 days ago my Mom was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer that had spread to her liver…and this past Wednesday, in the early morning of October 28th, 2015 my Mom passed away peacefully in her sleep. Not nearly enough time to even process the diagnosis, never-mind prepare for her passing. So today…a day late…I dedicate this week’s Fav Foto Friday to my Mom.

Love you so much Momma!!!

I am so sorry about the loss of your mother. She will always be with you. I lost my mother 42 year ago on Veterans day.

There is no better way to pass away, than to pass away peacefully in your sleep! Lost both my grandparents to different forms of cancer. Both suffered horribly until their final breaths. Your mother was blessed to pass quietly in her sleep!

Yes, in some ways I am grateful that it was quick cause did not want to watch her waste away…of course selfishly I wanted her to stay 🙁

I’m so, so sorry for your loss – may the memories you shared together bring you comfort and light to you on your darkest days. xx

Sorry for your loss, dark days indeed. My father died of lung cancer this month 22 years ago. I hope you have many happy memories of her.
