This week’s edition of Fav Foto Friday, a very photographic subject of mine, one of my cats, Oreo. I can’t help it…I am obsessed with him!

Fav Foto Friday Oreo

Oreo is our Bridgeport Refugee. We found him and his brother walking in the middle of the street, on one of the coldest days in January 2011. The kittens wouldn’t actually let us grab them that day…but the kids that we were visiting had said they are able to get them sometimes. Thankfully, my boyfriend is as much as a sucker for a furry little face as I am so we told the kids if they could catch the kittens that we would come back the next day and pick them up. Shortly after we arrived home, we got a call from the kids that they had caught them…and the next day we went back up and picked up these adorable little ones.

A friend ended up taking one of them and we kept Oreo. The kids had initially been calling the black and white kitty Oreo…so it just sort of stuck. We are so blessed to have this cat in our lives! He is so loving and grateful for being rescued…at least that is what I believe…and he provides us with so much love!

He really thinks he is a dog…and comes running when he hears his mom and dad come home. And he needs to be touching us at all times! If he is sitting with us in the evenings he will most like be sitting on one lap and reaching to touch the other person. It is so darn sweet!

Admittedly, I sometimes think he just likes to be clingy and annoying…lol…but mostly, I think it is awesome! He remains to be one of the best decisions that we ever made…next to getting Sawyer Brown and Maggie Mae.

Hope you have enjoyed today’s Fav Foto Friday selections! Join me and share some of your favorite images! Don’t forget to tag your post #favfotofriday.

  2. Oh my, Oreo is beautiful, and cute all at the same time. My tuxie Jack also seems like a dog at times. He does the reaching a paw out thing too, almost as if to claim you. We love it.
Isn’t it great how cats come into your life when you least expect it? So glad you rescued him.
